Big Head

So, while taking everyone to the airport, home, etc., Kristine spotted a new Target sprouting nearby our house. It's in a weird location - kind of between Studemont and downtown, Washington warehouses and the non-existent East I-10 feeder. Opens July 23rd!!

Anyway, we're trying to find this place, and we see a gigantic bust. From the side, I think it looks like Stalin. Kristine correctly identified is as Teddy Roosevelt.



I then remembered about the guy who built the giant Sam Houston for SHSU, and his fetishization of the U.S. Presidents.

So, there in the parking lot of David Adickes Sculpturworx are many gigantic presidential busts. Lincoln's pate has been sliced off, like he's been severely trepanned, George H.W. Bush has a place of honor on a giant concrete block/pedestal, George W. Bush's tie has a G.O.P.-elephant pattern. Worth checking out...
